In my opinion one of the most outstanding hybrids - tolerant, extremely fast growing and producing masses of flowers. It'll need a very fertile soil and regular artificial fertilizing to maintain its massive growth.
The absolutely stunning flowers can reach 25 cm or more, clustering the bigger the plant gets.
Spontaneous hybridization is commonly found in the subser. Hexandrae in Brazil.
The species Aristolochia lawrenceae described from Brazil might actually represent this hybrid or a similar one like A. x [elegans x labiata].
